What is YamYam VPN?
A free VPN for Android, with several ways to connect, no sign-up and no manual configuration.
YamYam VPN is a VPN app for Android, also known in Persian as یامیام. It is built to make connecting on restricted and unstable networks simpler: install the app, choose a connection mode and slide the control to connect. You do not need an account, an email address, a phone number or a configuration file to get started.

Three ways to connect on changing networks
When one method does not work well on your network, YamYam gives you other methods to try. Start with Smart, then change the connection mode to suit your network.
- Smart: automatically selects the location and protocol. It is the recommended starting point when you want to connect without choosing a server manually.
- Stable: automatically switches to an alternative route when the current route stops working, giving the connection a way to continue.
- Exclusive: provides a separate connection route without manual setup, offering another option when your current method does not work.

Multiple protocols for restricted networks
YamYam's main server protocols use the VLESS and Xray family, with three different combinations:
- Balanced: VLESS with XHTTP and REALITY.
- Direct: VLESS with REALITY and Vision.
- Compatible: VLESS with XHTTP and TLS.
These options let you try another combination on your network rather than depend on a single connection method.
Severe restrictions and Iran's national internet conditions
During periods of severe internet restrictions, including conditions often called Iran's “national internet,” access can vary by network and operator. Automatic route selection, Stable's alternative routes and Exclusive's separate route give you several ways to attempt a connection.
A connection depends on some reachable route to the international internet remaining available. If all such routes are cut off, a VPN connection cannot be guaranteed. YamYam does not promise to connect in every condition or provide constant access to every destination. If one mode fails, try another and include the mode and network details when contacting support.
Choose which apps and websites use the VPN
Split tunneling lets you open selected apps or websites without the VPN while the rest use the tunnel. Website rules can match an entire domain and its subdomains, an exact address or a regular expression. A built-in tester shows whether a website opens through the VPN or directly.

No account, with privacy controls
- Devices register without an account; no email address, phone number or password is required.
- DNS queries use DNS-over-HTTPS through the encrypted tunnel.
- Split tunneling choices stay on your device.
- You can turn crash reporting off in settings.
- The app does not request access to contacts, SMS, location, the camera or the microphone.

The current app supports Android 7.0 and newer on 64-bit arm64 devices. Its interface is available in Persian, English and Arabic, with right-to-left support. It is free to use with a daily data quota per device; ads may be shown.
